In 2012

 

22 - 28.4 The mission of representatives of companies, officers of self-governments, Chambers of Commerce accompanying delegation of the Economics Committee of the Senate of the Czech Republic will head to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The aim is to determine additional form of cooperation and enhance the current one. There will be held economic forums, meetings of representatives of companies and several receptions during the visit. (Apllication form) (photo gallery)

April – The Baltic mission

13.4 Karlovy Vary, 10 am, representative auditorium of Karlovy Vary Region
Specialized seminar on international cooperation within the bounds of partnership contracts of Karlovy Vary region. The main topic will be opportunities of active participation of entrepreneurs on particular projects of China, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Baltic States. Specialized part will lead the director of Czech – China Chamber of Commerce PhDr. Jan Kohout or Estonian Ambassador in the Czech Republic J. E. Lembit Uibo.

March  - Czech Baltic Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with County Chamber of Commerce is preparing seminars focused on The Baltic region in these regions:

19th Olomouc city at 3 pm
21st České Budějovice city at 10 am
22nd Hradec Králové city at 10 am
22nd Pardubice city at 2 pm

May – Meeting of Secretaries of cities and towns (picture)

With the participation of 35 secretaries of governments there was held the seminar on opportunities of cooperation with Latvian regions and cities at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

November - Participation at the Czech Bus fair

Representatives of governments of Baltic region participated in the International Czech Bus fair in the presence of financial support of incoming missions. The Chamber was the official partner of this fair.

November - Visit of Prime Minister of Estonia to Prague (picture)

There was held the meeting with entrepreneurial society at Estonian Embassy on the occasion of visit of Prime Minister of Estonia to Prague. Prime Minister expressed an interest in the Czech products and technologies and invited Prime Minister of the Czech Republic with entrepreneurial mission to Estonia.

December – Meeting of Association of Secretaries of cities and towns

Within the bounds of long–term strategy the meeting with Association of Secretaries was held at their annual session. There were discussed various forms of cooperation for upcoming events, especially investment activities of individual cities and regions.

May – Mission with President Václav Klaus (picture) (picture)

The representatives of Chamber participated in the mission of companies′ representatives which accompanied Václav Klaus on his official visit of Latvia.

July – Czech – Latvian forum (picture) (video ČT)

The mission of representatives of Pardubice region, Královéhradecký region and Jihomoravský region visited Latvia with the aim to participate in Czech – Latvian forum.
The representatives of unions, associations, chambers, and political representation spoke at this forum. Participants of the mission also visited Jurmala city and discussed possibilities of cooperation in healthcare. There was organized a public presentation of regions and towns of the Czech Republic during the mission.

August – Business forum in Prague

Representatives of the Chamber participated in the business forum at Ministry of Industry and Trade on the occasion of visit of the President of the Latvia and Minister of Economics to Prague.

October – Seminar about Baltic region

Ministry of Industry and Trade organized the seminar about Baltic region for entrepreneurial society.

December – Entrepreneurial mission to Latvia (picture) (picture)

The mission was held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and the Minister of Industry and Trade. The mission was focused on power engineering and new technologies in cooperation with Ministry of Industry and Trade and Embassy of the Czech Republic in Latvia.

February – participation on Balttour fair

Representatives of the Chamber participated in international Balttour fair on behalf of regions of the Czech Republic.

February - Participation on Balttour fair

Common presentation was organized for representatives of Czech regions and towns at the International Balttour fair in Riga. Unexpectedly high interest surprised all involved.

May – Participation on the World Championship in ice hockey in Riga (picture)

Action was held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and on the occasion of the first hockey game of the Championship between the Czech Republic and Latvia and on the occasion of official visit of Prime Minister of the Czech Republic in Latvia. For Czech companies operating in Latvia and their partners was organized meeting and a common watching of this game in the biggest skybox in the newly constructed ice hockey arena. The result of this game was 1:1 but the Czech Republic became the World Champions this year.

December – Sale on the Christmas Markets

Czech glassmakers again offered their products in a common stall on the Christmas Markets on Doman square in Riga. There was high interest in the Czech glass.

 

In 2005

 

March – Mission of region representatives to Latvia

For the representatives of Governments of Plzeň region, Ústí nad Labem region and Liberec region was prepared negotiation on a partnership in Riga region, Jelgava region and Daugavpilsu region. During the mission was in cooperation with Embassy of the Czech Republic in Latvia concert held in Riga and Jan Svěrák′s Kolya movie projecting held in Deugavpils. There was also held a presentation of the Czech Republic as an interesting touristic destination in Daugavpils.

April – Exhibition opening

Together with Czech centrums and Czech Embassy in Riga was installed photography exhibition at the Riga Town Hall. On the exhibition spoke Ambassador of the Czech republic, Mayor of Riga and President of the Chamber.

August – Entrepreneurial mission to Latvia

The mission was held under the auspices of Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
The representatives of nine Czech companies from the area of services and IT met their Latvian partners. This meeting was preceded by selection of suitable companies, exchange of contacts and web pages and verification of interest in products.

August – Visit of representatives of Governments in the Czech Republic

Representatives of municipal and county Governments of Daugavpils and Jeglava visited Ústí nad Labem, Prague and Pilsner cities. They also met their partners from municipality and county Governments and they participated in international fair of tourism in Pilsner city.

September – Common exposition on Rigafood fair

In cooperation with Czech Trade agency was organized a common exposition of representatives of Czech companies from food industry at the international Rigafood fair. On the occasion of the fair took place a press conference and also accompanying action in retail chain Maxima named „The Days of the Czech Republic“. Within the bounds of this action were presented Czech products to the Latvian community. In the ten largest shops of the retail chain was organized also tasting of food. Mass media informed about the event.

December – Concert of string quartet

Together with Embassy of the Czech Republic was organized concert in Riga, at which were invited the representatives of Czech companies operating in Latvia and their partners, representatives of local government and political representation.

In 2004

October – Czech-Baltic mission 2004 Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Petrohrad

Mission was held under the auspices of Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. Representatives of 18 Czech companies were looking for suitable business opportunities in Baltic region. They met their partners with whom they had pre-arranged meetings in each of visited places. Together with representatives of the embassy were during the mission organized receptions which was attended by representatives of companies and their partners and also by representatives of local governments and authorities.
